General

What exactly does Sivertson Solutions do?

We build websites and run SEO strategy, usually together, for businesses that need both a working site and a plan to get found on Google. You can also hire us for just one side of that.

What kinds of businesses do you work with?

Mostly small and mid-sized businesses — local service providers, e-commerce shops, and professional practices. If you’re not sure we’re a fit, tell us about the project and we’ll say so directly.

Do I need to sign a long-term contract?

Website builds are a fixed-scope project, not a contract. SEO and maintenance are ongoing work billed monthly, and either side can end that arrangement with 30 days’ notice.

Can you just fix or improve my current site instead of a full rebuild?

Often, yes. We’ll audit what you have first — sometimes targeted fixes to speed, structure, or content get you most of the way there without a full rebuild.

Web development

What platform do you build websites on?

It depends on the project — a custom-coded site, a CMS like WordPress, or an e-commerce platform, depending on what you need to manage yourself afterward. We’ll recommend one during scoping, not before.

How long does a website build take?

A standard 5–8 page site usually runs 4–7 weeks from kickoff to launch. E-commerce or custom-feature builds take longer. Timeline depends heavily on how quickly we get content and feedback from you.

Will I be able to update the site myself after launch?

Yes. Every build includes a CMS setup and a short training session so you can edit text, images, and basic pages without calling us for every change.

Do I own the website once it’s built?

Yes — the domain, hosting, and CMS all live in accounts you control. We’re not a landlord; you can take the site elsewhere at any time.

SEO

How long until I see results from SEO?

Most clients see initial movement in 2–3 months and clearer results by month 4–6. SEO compounds over time — it’s not something that produces results in the first few weeks.

Can you guarantee a #1 ranking?

No, and any agency that promises a specific ranking position is overselling — no one controls Google’s algorithm. What we can commit to is a clear strategy, consistent execution, and honest monthly reporting on what’s moving.

What’s the difference between SEO and running ads?

Ads buy visibility for as long as you keep paying. SEO builds visibility that keeps working after the campaign ends, but it takes longer to show up. Many clients run both at once, especially early on.

Do you handle local SEO for physical locations?

Yes — Google Business Profile setup and optimization, local citations, and map-pack visibility are part of our standard local SEO work.

Pricing & process

How much does a project cost?

It depends on scope — a marketing site, an e-commerce build, and an ongoing SEO retainer all price differently. We quote after a short discovery call rather than publishing flat rates, since two “5-page websites” can require very different amounts of work.

How does payment work?

Website builds are typically split into a deposit, a milestone payment, and a final payment at launch. SEO and maintenance retainers are billed monthly.

What do you need from me to get started?

A sense of your goals, examples of sites you like, and your existing content (or a willingness to work with us to create it). The more real content you can provide early, the faster the build moves.

What happens after the site launches?

You can walk away with the finished site, or move into a maintenance and/or SEO retainer so the site keeps getting monitored, updated, and optimized. Nothing is required — but most clients stay on in some form.
